Jones Town: 2072 - Prologue

The year is 2072, the world has fallen into civil war after it's global government has been split. Rebels fight for their freedom over the world federation, as the worlds government tries to pull civilization back to the norm.

It has been 4 years since the start of this new world war. Resources on earth are growing scarce as the intense fighting on the battle front continues. Earth as we knew it is now home to endless battle fields, and nuclear blast marks. Life is different now, those who could afford to leave earth did, those who couldn't fight.

In 2061, Spacetech Incorporated built the first sustainable space station orbiting earth. It now houses over 3million wealthy family's. Many of which are political figures for the world government. Although there are several space stations in orbit, MECHA-1 was the first civilian housing. New technology's have made it easier then ever to reach space from earth, but several set backs in space flight have prevented large out reaches to other systems.

While the government is now ran from space, the rebels rely on one city for its entire survival. Jones Town was created shortly after the war began, after several attempts to gain ground against the worlds forces. Jones Town is an enforced city like nothing that has been built before. This technologically advanced city is highly automated, and nuclear powered.

Jones Town is the heart of the rebels efforts. Their enemy, which they call "NUG", or "Nation Under Guns", has attacked Jones Town on several occasions, but failed. Although less prosperous, the rebels, known to the world government as "SOMS" or, "Shit On My Shoe" has been technologically superior then the NUG. When the world government formed, the constitution was removed from service, and a new military order was created. With the use of fear tactics, the world government turned society into a petting zoo.

Today, Jones Town flies it's flag at half mass, for all hell shall break loose on the battle field. With the power of the constitution, and brilliant scientist, the SOMS roll out their newest creation.
